Raus aus der Hitze, rein ins Kino: NATALLIA im Wolf Kino

The short film “NATAЛЛЯ” (“NATALLIA”) tells the story of the 2020 election fraud in Belarus and the ensuing protests from the perspective of a Belarusian woman living in Berlin. The film focuses on the experience of witnessing violence and injustice from a distance—and the helplessness of being unable to act directly.

“NATAЛЛЯ” (“NATALLIA”) is a graduation film produced by the self-organized FilmArche e.V. in Neukölln. Filming was carried out privately and with support from LIBERECO.

From the very beginning, it was the intention of director Anastasia Sytschew and LIBERECO to use this film to create a space for dialogue—for people with and without migration experiences, especially those who come from authoritarian states or are directly or indirectly affected by them. Following the screening, there will be aQ&A with the director and the protagonists. Seating is limited.

Afterward, we invite you to join us at the bar for a postcard campaign in support of political prisoners in Belarus. All materials and addresses will be provided, and translation assistance is available. Everyone is welcome—regardless of language skills—to come together in a warm and supportive atmosphere to send a message of hope and solidarity.
