radio3 Listening Lounge: Erik Leuthäuser

Once a month, radio3 (rbb) invites you to listen to music together and discover new things - in the middle of Berlin, under the S-Bahn arches of Friedrichstraße. Upstairs the train rattles, downstairs there are exquisite drinks and extraordinary recordings in an intimate atmosphere and brilliant sound.

For the last edition before the summer break, radio3 presenter Florian Rumberg has invited jazz singer Erik Leuthäuser to the Bredouille Bar. He is one of the most exciting newcomers on the German jazz scene. In his songs, he combines contemporary jazz with elements of avant-garde pop and electronic music. His vocals move effortlessly between virtuoso improvisation and narrative clarity.

In the radio3 Listening Lounge, Erik Leuthäuser presents recordings that touch him personally, have influenced and inspired him or that he particularly enjoys listening to at the moment. In between, there will be selected music from his own albums as well as recordings from the radio3 music program.
