Experience the festive atmosphere in the Kreuzkirche Dresden at Pentecost. Under the direction of Kreuzkantor Martin Lehmann, the world-famous Dresdner Kreuzchor will perform a special Bach program that will make the message of Pentecost shine.

The focus will be on two masterpieces by Johann Sebastian Bach: the cantata "Thus hat Gott die Welt geliebt" BWV 68 with the famous, jubilant soprano aria "Mein gläubiges Herze" and the double-choir motet "Der Geist hilft unser Schwachheit auf" BWV 226, which fascinates with its dense, polyphonic structure.

Together with the Dresden Philharmonic Chamber Orchestra and outstanding vocal soloists from the Dresden University of Music, this church music tradition will be brought to life. Following the vespers, the traditional Kurren singing awaits you in front of Portal C.
