Classical music touches the soul deeply. On Saturday at 17:00, the Kreuzkirche Dresden invites you to vespers for the Trinity Festival - an unforgettable experience full of live music. On warm days, the cool church offers an ideal place for inner contemplation, reflection and soothing peace. Listening together creates a tangible sense of community. Soprano Maria Perlt-Gärtner and the Dresdner Kapellsolisten perform under the direction of organist Holger Gehring (organ). The program dedicated purely to Johann Sebastian Bach combines baroque splendour and deep spirituality. In addition to the monumental Praeludium et Fuga in E flat major BWV 552 for organ, exquisite cantata works will be performed. Experience dazzling arias from "Höchsterwünschtes Freudenfest" (BWV 194) and "So hat Gott die Welt geliebt" (BWV 68). The highlight is the virtuoso cantata for soprano and orchestra "Jauchzet Gott in allen Landen" (BWV 51) with aria, chorale and aria. Let yourself be carried away by this immortal classical music.
