Paula Steimer Quintett - Bachelor-Abschlusskonzert

On this concert evening, saxophonist Paula Steimer and her quintet will present their Bachelor's graduation concert. After five years of studying jazz at the Cologne University of Music and Dance, this evening not only marks the completion of her studies, but also a special musical milestone - a concert full of retrospection, new perspectives and shared musical experiences.

Paula Steimer has been collaborating with Jakob Görris, Béla Bluche, Philip Weyand and Frederik Hesse for many years, which has already resulted in numerous concerts. Following the release of their debut album Thinkin in 2024, this summer saw the quintet's second album production.

The audience can expect a varied program of new original compositions by Paula Steimer as well as selected pieces from the band's previous repertoire. Between modern jazz sounds, emotional moments and energetic improvisations, the result is a concert evening that is both moving and captivating.
