OSD After Work mit Deriva

In the organizer's words:

Deriva - Spanish for "drift" - is the band around the two singers Juana Casas and Aina Zanoguera, together with Sarah Mysegaes on drums, André Kluth on bass and Tobias Bruns on guitar. "Deriva" stands for movement without haste, for drifting in the groove and wandering through moods. This is reflected in their songs - original compositions with Spanish lyrics and driving grooves that combine pop and jazz - including "Se acabó", "Bolsa y Punto" and "Nothing Hurts More".

The band combines different influences to create its own sound: vocal harmonies, danceable grooves, modern soundscapes and emotional lyrics meet improvisation and a love of experimentation. Between jazz, pop and folk melodies, music is created that develops, flows and constantly takes new directions. The five got to know each other in sessions in the jazz scenes of Hamburg and Bremen. Deriva emerged from joint improvisations - as a band that brings together sound, movement and emotion.
