KOTA NO UTA's music moves between nu-jazz, folk and electronic soundscapes. The Berlin-based artist combines influences from Central Asia and Eastern Europe with warm double bass lines, airy percussion, jazzy guitars and soft vocals between R&B, flamenco and folk. Her songs tell of bodies, memories, nature and spiritual figures - sometimes intimate, sometimes atmospheric and expansive.

KOTA NO UTA sees music as a cultural memory and a communal experience. Her compositions arise less from fixed genres than from emotions, stories and moods. In 2023, she was awarded the Female* Producer Prize by Sony Music Entertainment Germany and Music Women*. Concerts have taken her to Silent Green, the Fusion Festival, Gretchen Berlin and the XJAZZ Showcase, among others. She is currently working on her debut album, which is due to be released in 2027.
