Open Mind Festival: From Brazilian rhythms to alternative pop and jazz - a line-up full of diversity and openness.

The Open Mind Festival stands for musical diversity, cultural exchange and tolerance. In times of increasing social polarization, the festival sets an example for openness, encounters and shared moments of happiness. This year's line-up offers cross-cultural music between alternative pop, Brazilian rhythms, Ukrainian folklore and virtuoso jazz.
Tamara Lukasheva and André de Cayres combine Ukrainian melodies with Brazilian forró rhythms and jazzy improvisation to create a passionate musical language full of joie de vivre.
musical language full of joie de vivre. Guitarist Frank Wingold completes the program with purist solo pieces between jazz, free improvisation and impressionistic timbres. Berlin musician Mia Gjakonovski rounds off the line-up with her own songs between alternative pop and modern jazz. With her warm alto voice, subtle harmonies and personal songwriting aesthetic, she creates intimate soundscapes full of honesty and depth.
