The new show is a jam-packed surprise bag: from everyday madness to the absurdity of human nature. Doctor off duty, author, beer brewer on duty, stage performer, comedian, politician, punk musician: Marco Pogo’s résumé is already longer than many a political career—only with a better soundtrack. With his band TURBOBIER, he has carved out a permanent place for himself in the Austrian and German music scenes. He has already been honored three times with the most prestigious music award, the Amadeus Austrian Music Award. He’s been using all of them as drinking mugs at home ever since. In 2015, he founded the Beer Party (BIER), originally intended as satire, but it quickly achieved surprising political success and already holds seats in the Vienna City Council. In the 2022 federal presidential election, he achieved an impressive 8.3 percent of the vote, proving that humor and principle are not mutually exclusive. Sold-out tours and performances at home and abroad—from Simmering to Wacken to Japan—speak for themselves. On the cabaret stage, he comments on his multifaceted life with sharp wit, brutal honesty, and an unerring sense for the comedy of everyday life. He is a musician, doctor, politician, author, and, of course, a comedian. According to the latest research, there’s probably only one person in the world with a résumé like this. His debut novel, *Gschichtn*, which he published in the midst of the pandemic, quickly achieved cult status, leading to the development of Marco’s first stage show, *Gschichtndrucker*. He has toured with it to this day, racking up an impressive 132 performances. On stage, Marco Pogo brings all these experiences together: he tells stories, spins tales, and alternately exaggerates or downplays—always hitting the mark. It’s a mix of cabaret, rock ’n’ roll, and social self-therapy. In the year of our Lord 2026, Marco Pogo is embarking on a major 72-date tour with his second solo stand-up show, “Lost & Found,” and this time he’s set his sights on Germany as well—we’re excited and thrilled. Who knows—with a little luck, he might even become the next Federal President here. That’s not entirely certain, but one thing is for sure: it’s going to be fantastic.
