Lillördag at Kunstkate

On Saturday it will be Swedish folk in Volksdorf!

Lillördag, the Swedish way of slowing down the week. Celebrating the "little Saturday", as Wednesday is also affectionately known, is a tradition. The three musicians Pernilla, Finn and Freddy take this as their musical model. They interpret their favorite pieces of Swedish folk music with attention to detail and Nordic serenity.
Their set-up consists of vocals/piano, violin, Hardanger fiddle, octave violin and acoustic guitar. Traditional folk melodies meet more modern songs and their own compositions up to well-known songs from e.g. "Like in heaven"
