Lesung & Gespräch: Angie Volk liest "Brüchiges Plastik"

Angie Volks' second novel "Brüchiges Plastik" takes us deep into the consciousness of a woman who refuses to accept the conventions of motherhood - and finds herself in the process.

After the reading, we invite you to an open discussion: What does motherhood mean today? What space does being a parent leave for creative work, for one's own wishes, for one's own self? And: What new opportunities arise precisely where old role models break down?

The reading will be moderated by Anna Fiedler - author, literary mediator and mother.

Children and babies are very welcome. The event takes place in the children's area of the Bücherhalle Eimsbüttel and is child-friendly.
