The Author
Josef Ulbig is a radio drama director and writer. He has been working at the Lauscherlounge since 2014, where he oversees the creative processes. His debut radio play, “Kleiner Drei” (featuring Max Riemelt, among others), was produced specifically for the Lauscherlounge in 2019. Since 2017, he has directed various radio plays for children and adults (including Andreas Gruber’s “Todesfrist”). In recent years, he has written many radio plays by Sebastian Fitzek (“Der Nachtwandler,” “Der Insasse,” “Das Paket,” “Die Therapie”).

Live Radio Play
If you close your eyes, you hear a radio play—but if you open them, you not only gain insight into the production of a radio play but also experience a unique and special art form on stage. The voice actors, a sound effects artist, and a sound designer let the audience participate in the creation of a radio play.
