„Land an sich“
In the organizer's words:
The exhibition "Land an sich" is dedicated to the Brandenburg landscape as a place of continuous change - a terrain between tradition and transformation, monotony and diversity, control and overgrowth. In a multi-layered dialog between different artistic positions, a field of tension of appropriation, change and longing emerges that questions the view of the "Brandenburg countryside" of today and tomorrow.
Painting, printmaking, drawing, documented performance, photography and sculpture combine to create an open discourse on landscape as a cultural and aesthetic structure. At the same time, the exhibition focuses on the artistic translation of profound processes of change and on the constants of Brandenburg's culture - on the continuing legacy between industrial architecture and village churches, which makes change and continuity visible at the same time.
