Konferenz & Fachtagung zu Achtsamkeit in der Bildung

On September 10 & 11, 2026, the 2nd nationwide conference & symposium on mindfulness in education will take place with the theme "Shaping social responsibility and sustainable living environments in togetherness". The two-day event is being organized by the Mindfulness in Education and Higher Education Culture (ABiK) project from the ZLS at Leipzig University together with the non-profit Institute for Mindfulness, Connectedness and Engagement (AVE).
Around 500 participants from research, higher education and school practice as well as education policy are expected to attend. The diverse program includes over 70 workshops, lectures and discussion panels. The conference and symposium is aimed at university lecturers, researchers, teachers, students and anyone interested in mindfulness.
