The Isidore String Quartet honors Isidore Cohen, the former violinist of the legendary Juilliard String Quartet - and brings this excellent tradition into the present. For their Bonn debut, the four Americans are bringing two works from their home country, including the brand new quartet by Billy Childs, with whom they have been closely associated for years. Their impeccable playing culture also benefits the accompanying classics by Haydn and Mendelssohn.
