Journalist and author Alice Hasters has been working on our festival theme for a long time: the question of why we feel at home - and why not. In her penultimate book, she sheds light on an "identity crisis": the narratives about who we are clash in a complex present. At the opening in the Beethovenhalle, she reflects on ways out of such crises and considers how art and music can help shape an open home.
