In the organizer's words:

When Heinrich Del Core tells his everyday stories in his red shoes, you just want to
exclaim: “Give me a break! That could never have happened—he just made it all up!”
But all these incidents, which make us laugh so incredulously and heartily, are things he actually experienced himself. Heinrich Del Core is a magnet that attracts bizarre everyday situations, which he then presents to us with his inimitable, quirky charm.

And now the time has come. Heinrich is becoming a grandpa—and more importantly, his wife is becoming a grandma! She’s been looking forward to this for so long!

The new situation turns everything upside down; overnight, Del Core’s world is a different one. He buys
a stroller that costs as much as a moped used to—and today, a Thermomix. He downloads baby apps for his wife and bakes “Mutterkuchen” for family coffee parties.

Does “grandpa” sound old to Heinrich?
Because he definitely still feels younger—except in the morning when he gets up. His joints sometimes make noises then... But his wife always cheers him up and says, “You’re still in great shape.” His wife doesn’t have those worries at all. She says being a grandma is like being a mom—only better.
In fact, his wife has never given aging a second thought. She once left a note for the kids: “We’re at the cemetery.” And Heinrich wrote underneath it: “But we’ll be back.”

Then there’s a wedding, too—they’re celebrating two weddings at once.
Heinrich gains a son-in-law and a daughter-in-law. And, as was bound to happen, a vegan wedding is on the horizon. That’s when Heinrich asks himself: for whom is a vegan wedding a nightmare? For a die-hard bachelor. Is it all just a joke, or will he have to let them take the butter off his bread? Is it okay to ask, “Everything has an end—except the sausage, which has two”?

But there are other stories, too. When it’s time for Heinrich’s vacation again, you know something’s bound to happen with the Del Cores. Let’s be honest—who would ever think that on vacation, for example, a snake might take up residence in your suitcase overnight?
Absurd things happen everywhere—whether at the cheese counter, in the marital bedroom, or in essays written by elementary school kids.
How often is a restful night’s sleep disrupted by a wife’s cold feet or the never-ending battle over the comforter? Did you know, for example, that one-third of all couples sleep separately? When the man rivals a leaf blower in volume and air pressure, the woman can often only save herself by taking her clothes off.
And I don’t mean that in an erotic sense……
Yet despite all the changes in his life, this show is a typical Heinrich Del Core evening, because as he himself says: “My wife is becoming a grandma, but I’m still the same old guy.”
