The plaster cast collection of the Museum of Antiquities at Leipzig University is located in the G2 Kunsthalle building in the city center.
Visitors can expect an impressive collection of around 800 casts of ancient sculptures, reliefs and portraits. The plaster casts allow visitors to directly experience the diversity of ancient art. You can view the sculptures up close, discover details and directly compare different styles of antiquity.
The exhibition venue itself creates a special atmosphere: the combination of modern architecture and antique plaster casts creates an exciting contrast.
Dittrichring 13, 1st floor.
Admission is via the bell of the G2 Kunsthalle.
