The Elbphilharmonie's audience orchestra is made up of dedicated amateurs who rehearse with great enthusiasm and to a high standard under the guidance of Michael Petermann, Director of the Hamburg Conservatory. Twice a year, they present the fruits of their work in district concerts and in the Elbphilharmonie's Great Hall.
