👉Democracy Tuesdays is a series of events that aims to make democracy tangible through casual conversations and interactive elements!

🤓Democracy games and quiz formats round out the evening, inspiring participants and broadening their perspective on different viewpoints and life experiences.

🤩And it’s all done in a welcoming atmosphere, with a dash of humor and plenty of optimism!

In our August edition, we’ll discuss democracy in schools, young people’s participation and engagement in decision-making processes and in the fight against global crises, how to support these efforts, and how to further develop schools as places where democracy is lived out. And as always: what all of this has to do with democracy and our daily lives. We look forward to seeing you! 

About the guests:

Petra and Stephan are the executive directors of parto gUG and are committed, among other things, to promoting international understanding and the development of democracy. Their approach “supports people in bringing their own issues and concerns to the forefront and in pooling their strength to implement concrete visions—in their communities, at work, and in places of learning and social engagement. Two friends with a shared conviction: Democracy must be tangible. Christian and Chris organize Democracy Tuesdays to bring people together and help shape social discourse in a positive way.

The format thrives on diversity, openness, and a dash of humor—for everyone who is curious and wants to understand democracy as more than just an abstract concept.
