COLOGNE—You asked for it!! The energy you gave us in return was sensational. Nowhere else in Germany do we have as much fun as we do in the Rhine metropolis—and that’s putting it mildly. That’s why the Cologne Burlesque Festival is coming back and getting naked :) . After three sold-out festivals in 2023, 2024, and 2025, we’re thrilled to once again transform the legendary GLORIA Köln into a wicked palace of neo-burlesque with feather fans, opulent gowns, and tons of glitter. Once again, we’re presenting the most exclusive international burlesque show stars, a diverse new lineup on both days, and performers of all stripes and genders in the style of the great Parisian icons: Crazy Horse, Folies Bergère, and Moulin Rouge. Berlin and Frankfurt were just the beginning—Cologne celebrates international burlesque and variety arts in a very special way, letting itself be swept away by dance, song, theater, burlesque, drag, boylesque, cabaret, acrobatics, and diversity. Not far from the former Vaudeville Theater on Schildergasse, the festival celebrates the stylish art of striptease and the humorous portrayal of contemporary short stories wrapped in glitter, glamour, and champagne. The COLOGNE BURLESQUE FESTIVAL is curated and produced by Tara D’Arson and Sheila Wolf, the organizers of the successful Frankfurt Burlesque Festival. Sheila Wolf also produces the BOYLESQUE DRAG FESTIVAL in Berlin and Germany’s top-tier burlesque variety show, the VAUDEVILLE VARIETY REVUE, which is now coming to Cologne’s Gloria. For both producers, the focus is on maximizing the diversity of top-notch performances and, ultimately, on the guests’ laughter, cheering, singing, and dancing.
