In the organizer's words:
The Peruvian-German cultural association Chasqui e. V. is bringing the traditional midsummer festival, modeled on the Peruvian Inti Raymi, to Munich with music, dance, culture and culinary delights from the Andes.
The program includes a festive parade, a traditional sun ceremony and performances by over 100 artists from Peru, Bolivia, Chile, Ecuador and Colombia. The festival is complemented by arts and crafts, local specialties, a children's program and llamas.
