Yalla Miku. DURCHLÜFTEN – 2026 Live Concerts & DJ Acts

Over four weekends this summer, the DURCHLÜFTEN music festival transforms the Schlüterhof at the Humboldt Forum into an open-air gathering place, with free admission, where musical traditions from around the world come to life and, through interaction with the audience, become living archives of culture.   

5 years open—5 years of DURCHLÜFTEN. The Schlüterhof at Berlin’s Humboldt Forum will once again become a vibrant open-air stage for global music, cultural exchange, and shared experiences. FromJuly 9 to August 1, 2026, the festivalwill present24 live acts and 12 DJs from around the world over four summer weekends. Each evening’s program features two concerts, followed by a DJ set. The result is twelve nights full of musical discoveries, movement, and encounters in the heart of Berlin—once again with free admission for everyone. 

Yalla Mikuis a Geneva-based collective that weaves post-Kraut grooves, reimagined folklore, and electronic trance with musical traditions from the Horn of Africa. At the heart of the band are the krar (a five- or six-stringed, bowl-shaped lyre from Ethiopia and Eritrea) played by Samuel Ades Tesfagergsh, Louise Knobil’s bass, Cyril Bondi’s percussion, Emma Souharce’s electronics, and Cyril Yeterian’s distinctive “UFO banjo,” which create a dense, rhythmic sound that moves freely between post-punk, Afrofunk, dub, and Krautrock. The project was founded by Cyril Yeterian, who also runs the influential Geneva-based label and record store Bongo Joe.

Their new album,*2*, released on Bongo Joe Records, builds on the spirit of adventure found on their 2023 debut. With its ever-changing lineup and collective spirit, the band embodies the tireless creativity of Geneva’s underground scene—where traditions, stories of migration, and experimental sounds collide on the dance floor.
