Vanishing Kids

Vanishing Kids are dedicated to a dreamy, epic, and magical style of psychedelic rock that blends elements of sludge and doom. Their sound feels like a journey back in time to a bygone, intoxicating era. Clear influences from Black Sabbath and Deep Purple, along with a healthy dose of Jane’s Addiction, are carried by Nikki Drohomyreky’s simply overwhelming voice. Their sound unleashes an almost overwhelming physical force while simultaneously retaining a beautiful, shimmering elegance.

Megabobo^LIVE

Megabobo plays live, improvised techno somewhere between Hypnotic and Detroit. Characterized by a strong focus on percussive elements, as well as deep, rhythmically floating basslines that derive their legitimacy from repetition.

This techno is analog: it’s created in the here and now. There are no presets, no songs to call up. Just ideas through which Megabobo engages in a dialogue with the synthesizer. As soon as the last plug is pulled, it’s all gone.

Four years ago, Megabobo arrived in Freiburg with his homemade synthesizer. Since then, he has performed at various events and can be heard from time to time on Radio Dreyeckland.
