It has since become synonymous with every form of the surveillance state. Many situations that Orwell described in 1948 as a frightening vision of the future seem disturbingly relevant to us in 2025. But *1984* is far more than a dystopia; it tells the love story of Winston and Julia. But is it possible to live out a love in times when everyone distrusts everyone else?
