The everyday is at the heart of Sara Hernández and David Tobón’s collaborative artistic practice. Drawing serves as the starting point for their work and expands into sculpture and installation. In the transitions between these media, they explore the possibilities and limitations of both traditional and contemporary techniques.

Their works emerge as open systems in which materials, objects, and ideas interact with one another. Everyday objects become catalysts for associations and shifts in perception. In doing so, Hernández and Tobón address questions of empathy, ecological interconnections, and the conditions under which space and time are experienced.
