The innovative crossover project “Sing and Die” breaks away from the traditional
reading and transforms literature into a collective live experience. In this
performance at the Kulturpalast Hannover, a gripping thriller
merges in real time with free musical improvisation.

Author Thorsten Schatz reads live from his gripping, darkly humorous
thriller “Sing and Die,” while four renowned jazz musicians
from Hanover respond to the language, rhythm, and tension
. The result is a unique, open dialogue between literature
and jazz.
