SAGURU
Indie-Folk, Indie-Pop, Electronica | Munich
The start of the day. The light, the fall, the depth:SAGURUwrites songs that embody vast expanses. Songs that carry a melancholic darkness, yet always also embody a sense of new beginnings, a sense of outlook, and a clarity and lightness. The moment after the rain.
Munich-based Chris Rappel founded SAGURU in 2016, drawing inspiration from heroes like Alex Turner, Bon Iver, and Ben Howard, and released his first songs. A voice that radiates far more years of life than Rappel has actually lived. The precisely crafted and colorful sound of the recordings—the blend of guitar, radiant vocals, and gentle yet powerful electronica—all of this makes SAGURU a gem, a treasure chest.
Breaking out of routines, learning to cope with growing alienation, moods in a state of limbo, the vastness, running as an escape: themes and images from SAGURU. Themes and images imbued with urgency. The fog rolling in over the forest at the start of the day. The light, autumn, the depth. (Source: Artist)

HANNA SIKASA
Soul, Pop, Jazz, R&B | Augsburg
HANNA SIKASA loves to perform with a full band. Three-part harmonies, Wurlitzer, guitar, cello, flugelhorn, trumpet, double bass, and drums create the band’s warm, rich sound.
The result is a sound reminiscent of soul-pop, with roots in jazz and connections to R&B. Her English-language songs are sometimes poetic miniatures that leave room for personal interpretation, sometimes a plea for the freedom to flourish as an Afro-German woman in this world, or stories about surviving in the music business as an artist with children. When HANNA SIKASA isn’t on stage performing her music, she devotes herself to her other passion—working with choirs. (Source: Artist)
