POLAR NOIR
Pop, Shoegaze, Wave | Berlin
POLAR NOIRis the project of Berlin-based singer-songwriter and producer Sandra Gern, who draws her inspiration from nature—especially water. In 2025, she released her debut album "Coming Up For Breath," which explores longing and missed opportunities in a society that has become estranged from itself and nature. Her themes range from personal emotional landscapes to global issues like the climate crisis, while musically she explores directions “that one wouldn’t typically associate with protest music,” as Musikexpress notes.

Rather, her pop songs—tinged with shoegaze and new wave—are reminiscent of the “4AD pop of Lush and Pale Saints” or a mix of “Cocteau Twins, Beach House, and Slowdive” (Under the Radar Magazine). With this sound, she quickly gained national and international attention: her songs have been played on hundreds of radio stations across Europe and the U.S., including KEXP, Deutschlandfunk Nova, and FM4.

She has performed live at the Maifeld Derby in Mannheim, at the legendary Stodola in Warsaw, and at the Spanish showcase festival Pro Weekend, and has toured as an opening act for bands such as “M83,” “Edwin Rosen,” and “Cari Cari.” (Source: Artist)

Soul, Electro-Pop | Nigeria/Luxembourg
Born in Nigeria and based in Luxembourg,OKEis a boundary-pushing artist who fuses African soul, electronic pop, and cinematic storytelling into a sound that feels both global and deeply personal. Drawing on his Yoruba roots and European upbringing, OKE explores identity, self-confidence, and the power of transformation through a bold project featuring multiple alter egos known as the “ALTER-EGO” universe.

Each alter ego reveals a different facet of OKE’s essence, including Stella Ross, the uncompromising feminine force at the heart of his new single “Sensational.” His “ALTER-EGO” EP brings these characters together into a single narrative about love, freedom, and finding one’s authentic self.

These are more than just songs; they are characters, worlds, and invitations. With this EP, OKE navigates between his Yoruba roots, European style, and a boundless soundscape to make a statement that is as playful as it is powerful. This is music that liberates—and this is just the beginning.

OKE has always felt at home in Luxembourg, ever since he moved there from Nigeria in 2008 at the age of eight. Although his musical journey began in a church choir in Nigeria, he didn’t truly develop his melodic pop universe until after he moved to Luxembourg. COUSINES LIKE SHITis a Vienna-based band consisting of cousins Hannah and Laura Breitfuß. With sharp, witty one-liners, they express their views on social phenomena and the paradoxes of human existence. Their tracks offer space for self-reflection, convey the feeling of being caught off guard, or simply bring a smile to your face when you recognize the comical nature of certain human behavior patterns. Their sound defies categorization—COUSINES LIKE SHIT themselves call it “Avant Trash.” This is also the title of their debut album, which was released in September 2023 on Seayou Records.
