Theater Marabu: Silent Calling (13+)
In the organizer's words:
PERFORMANCE
Driving techno and hip-hop beats intertwine with motifs from Beethoven’s Great Fugue (Op. 133) to create an urban soundscape. Within this soundscape, three dancers use dance styles drawn from hip-hop culture and contact improvisation to create moments that evoke deeply contradictory emotions.
Moments of connection are followed by moments of separation and isolation. Moments of closeness give way to moments of distance. The audience is invited to actively participate, to engage with one another, and to be present.
*Silent Calling* is a participatory performance about the silent cry for connection in a noisy world.
A co-production with Beethovenfest Bonn and Theater Bonn.
