Teufel, Tod und Heavy Metal - Till Burgwächter

Till Burgwächter, rock poet and observer of the world, reads from his latest book, “Hard and Dangerous.” On his current reading tour, “Devil, Death, and Heavy Metal,” he brings in the Grim Reaper and fictional horror characters. The reading promises a wild ride through the bleak steppes of human existence—with plenty of dark humor along the way.

Till Burgwächter, born in Gifhorn in 1975, works as a freelance journalist and author in Braunschweig. Since 2001, he has been a freelance contributor to Metal Hammer and writes books about the peculiarities of rock and heavy metal. His published works include “The Truth About Wacken” (2005), “How to Survive Death” (2020), “When the Werewolf Rings the Bell Three Times” (2024), and most recently “Hard and Dangerous – True Crime in Heavy Metal” (2025).
