What do we need in difficult times? Courage, backbone, confidence … and songs that help us—both rationally and emotionally. Just like the songs by Gerhard Gundermann, Hans-Eckardt Wenzel, Bettina Wegner, Dirk Michaelis, and Holger Biege:
Powerful and sensitive songs, both stirring and thought-provoking. They deal with longings and fears, right and wrong, morality and power, and resistance. Sometimes poetic and melancholic, sometimes bold and combative—but always with a touching depth. A depth that is desperately needed so that we don’t get stuck in our habits like flies on glue (Gundermann).
Radio and television ignore these songs. In Room 16, you can let them enchant you.
