In the organizer's words:
Saxophone, magic, and intensity. Christof Lauer, one of Europe’s great jazz saxophonists, was an NDR soloist for 25 years, played for several more decades in the Hessischer Rundfunk ensemble, and was a member of Albert Mangelsdorff’s quintet. “Talking to You” shows how this unconventional musician tells his story through sound and why he will never stop searching for new forms of expression. The film screening will be accompanied by a saxophone concert by Christof Lauer. Following the screening, there will be a discussion with the artist and the film’s director, Lucie Herrmann.
