Street Dance Contest

The Mannheim Streetdance Contest will take place for the 28th time in the Alte Feuerwache. In addition to the classic street dance contest, you can expect an exciting all-style battle in 1v1 format as well as an inclusive presentation stage that offers space for a variety of performances.

The best teams can look forward to attractive prizes: in the street dance contest, 1st to 3rd place will be awarded trophies and prize money. In the Battle, both the first and second-placed teams will receive prize money and a medal.

In addition, a NEWCOMER prize will be awarded for the best young dance group. The solo dancers also have the chance to win a special award - the title "Dancer of the Day".

Program planning:

- 12:30 pm: Streetdance contest U12
- 13:25: Open talent stage
- 14:00: Preselection Freestyle Battle (Top 8 in the Cypher)
- 15:00: Streetdance contest U16
- 15:45: Open talent stage
- 16:30: Award ceremony U12 and winner dance
- 16:45: Freestyle Battle Top 8
- 5:45 pm: Streetdance contest U28
- 18:35: Freestyle Battle Top 4 and final
- 19:15: Award ceremony
- 20:00: End of the event

The Mannheim Streetdance Contest is a cooperation between the Youth Development Department, the Alte Feuerwache and the Herzogenried e. V. youth center support association. The "Streetdance Network" of the Youth Development Department consists of the Vogelstang, Erlenhof and Herzogenried youth centers as well as the Schwetzingerstadt youth center and Jugendarbeit Mobil (JAM).
