Soundcinema „Acceleration“ – Sound-Festival

How can processes of condensation, acceleration, and increased energy be made audible and reflected in composition? 

Under the thematic focus“Acceleration,” the eighth edition of the Recorded Sound Festival presents electronic and electroacoustic audio productions that explore the sonic, structural, and temporal processes of acceleration.  

On the darkened stage, an acousmatic spatial sound environment is created that invites visitors to focus entirely on listening. A total of ten audio productions will be presented in multichannel and stereo formats, which will subsequently be awarded prizes by a panel of experts and the audience. 

In addition to the thematic focus, the open category showcases a wide variety of electronic and electroacoustic music: ranging from musical compositions to soundscapes and sound collages, as well as experimental works and narrative audio formats.
