Silent Cinema „Cycling Cities“

At our Silent Cinema evening, we will watch the documentary Cycling Citiestogether.

Journalist and filmmaker Ingwar Perowanowitsch spent two months traveling through Europe by bike. He started in Freiburg and visited cities such as Paris, Ghent, Amsterdam, Utrecht, Groningen, Hamburg and Copenhagen with his camera in tow. The almost 90-minute documentary shows ways in which cities can change and how decisive action can redistribute public space and improve the quality of life. Popcorn and refreshments will be available for purchase to give you the right cinematic feeling.

Silent Cinema (also known as headphone cinema) refers to a movie night with wireless headphones instead of loudspeakers. At the entrance you will receive headphones for a deposit (10€ or ID) and the sound will be transmitted directly to your ears (you cannot use your own headphones).

Note: The event takes place outside, please dress appropriately for the weather. In case of bad weather we will go inside.
