Fermentationswerkstatt – Mikrokultur trifft Stadtteilkultur
In the organizer's words:
Whether you are an absolute beginner or already a fermentation pro - everyone is welcome! In a relaxed atmosphere, you will have the opportunity to learn the basics and try out new recipes. We will talk about the difficulties and benefits of fermentation and exchange tips.
We have materials on site, if you have an extra jar, please bring it with you (swing-top jars and WECK jars up to 500ml - 1l are ideal). Otherwise, jars are available on site for a donation. We look forward to a stimulating exchange and exciting discussions.
The fermentation workshop takes place about once a month under the guidance of Philip Timmermann. We try out different types of fermentation and a different ferment is produced at each session.
Please note:
Fermented foods may contain alcohol.
The workshop partly takes place in the old building and is then only accessible via stairs.
