Pottery Workshop Meets the Art of Smudging – with Wild Herb Expert Susanne Conrady

This special workshop is all about the art of incense burning and creating your own unique ceramic piece. Together with herbalist Susanne Conrady, you’ll first enjoy an engaging introduction to incense-burning using local herbs and resins. You’ll learn about various incense-burning techniques, their effects, and applications—including scent samples of selected plants and resins.

Then it’s time to get creative: You’ll design your own personal indoor incense burner or an outdoor incense bowl.

You can pick up your finished piece at the studio a few weeks later—ready for cozy incense moments at home or in the garden.

Included in the workshop:

• An introduction to incense burning with native wild plants
• Professional guidance on making an incense burner or an incense bowl
• All materials, glazing service, and two firings
• A matching incense sieve for the burner or incense charcoal for the bowl
• A seasonal incense blend
