Pater Brown • Das Live-Hörspiel
In the organizer's words:
On tour with Wanja Mues, Antoine Monot, and beatboxer Marvelin starting in fall 2025 Munich – Two audience favorites and a cult figure: Antoine Monot (“Behringer and the Dead,” “A Case for Two”) and Wanja Mues (“A Case for Two”) will bring the live radio play “Father Brown” to the stage starting in fall 2025. They’ll be joined by Marvelin, one of the most sought-after beatboxers in the German-speaking world, who creates the entire soundscape live—from church bells to gusts of wind.
The audience can look forward to an exciting evening full of twists and turns, the fun of solving mysteries, and unique sound design. To kick things off, two gripping cases will be staged:
• “The Blue Cross”—a cat-and-mouse game between Father Brown, master thief Flambeau, and a brilliant detective.
• “The Falling Brothers”—a dark family drama about guilt, pride, and a deadly secret.
“We wanted to bring Chesterton’s cases to life just as they are: thrilling mysteries that invite the audience to solve them along with us—modern, accessible, and with a sound that gets under your skin,” says Wanja Mues. Known from the long-running ZDF hit “Ein Fall für zwei,” which averages 4.5 million viewers, Monot and Mues are appearing live on stage for the first time here. The cult figure Father Brown was already made popular by Heinz Rühmann and Ottfried Fischer—now, with Monot, Mues, and Marvelin, he’s getting a modern, interactive reimagining.
