Bedroom producer“Nikki Pop”tells stories of militant bike gangs and stray city cats, of tests of courage in cemeteries and romantic daydreams under the kitchen table.

The long-awaited debut album “ABC’s”—after “Nikki Pop” nearly called it quits several times—is finally coming soon! Two singles, “Tanz der Vampire” and “Im Tunnel,” have already been released, and the third, “L.U.C.A.,” will follow shortly—available everywhere music is played.

Golden Retriever, “expect far too much while we still can”—the Hamburg indie band’s German lyrics navigate the tension between the grueling, sober realities of everyday life and an escape into the vast, dark night. This tension is also reflected musically in the contrast between strummed, driving song sections and dreamy, melancholic harmonies of echoing guitars.
