Neurodivergent Social Dreaming Practice
In the organizer's words:
If you think and communicate differently from what we’re taught in neurotypical society, then this is for you: In Social Dreaming practice, you’re invited to share your actual nighttime dreams, or simply listen to those of others. You’re invited to share your associations upon hearing fragments of someone’s dream, or to simply sit in silence and feel the impact.
Just showing up, sitting down, and listening is already enough to be part of the practice.
I invite you to take part in a therapeutic method that lies at the intersection of art, poetry, sociology, and psychotherapy. It is not about you, me, or the other participants, but exclusively about the moment we will create together. We will claim a commons—just as important as water and air—a commons that cannot be compromised or assimilated by politics, fragmentation, and individualization: the Social Subconscious.
It is not about getting to know one another as a group, but rather about stepping back from ourselves and shifting our perspective toward our shared social subconscious, which we will allow to emerge together. This practice is not about the dreamers but about the dreams. It is not about analyzing and interpreting, but about allowing things to be as they are, allowing ourselves to be as we are.
