This 4-week intensive wheel-throwing course is perfect for anyone who wants to learn the basics of pottery on the wheel and glaze their own pieces at the end.
Sessions 1 and 2: Introduction to clay and the potter’s wheel, preparing the clay, centering, and basic steps for shaping and forming.
3rd session: Finishing pieces on the wheel and adding handles and decorations as needed
4th session: Glazing with powder and/or brush-on glazes; learning about various glazing techniques
4 sessions, 2.5 hours each / max. 4 people
PRICE: 280€, including clay, tools, glaze, and 2 firings
Course language: German; also available in English if needed (depending on the course composition)
