The NDR Big Band, the Bundesjazzorchester (BuJazzO), and the Hamburg-based quartet TOYTOY present an extraordinary concert full of energy, joy of playing, and musical surprises. The program was developed as part of a joint workshop in which seasoned jazz greats and the next generation of the German jazz scene explored new sonic landscapes.

TOYTOY blends electronic grooves, hip-hop influences, and virtuoso jazz into a distinctive sound. Combined with the sonic power of the NDR Big Band and the creativity of the Bundesjazzorchester, the result is a concert that effortlessly transcends genre boundaries.
