M. Byrd + Friends – Special Shows im September 2026

In the organizer's words:

With new songs in his luggage and a special live concept, M. Byrd returns to the stage for two exclusive shows in September. Since the release of his first EP "Orion" in 2020, Maximilian Barth has gained an international following with tracks such as "Mountain" and "Morning Sun". His sound, somewhere between the vastness of road trips and the intimacy of indie folk, has developed consistently over the years.

After the debut album "The Seed" (2021) and the current album "A Better Place" (2025), which deals with personal upheavals, family life and a new beginning between Hamburg and Denmark, the focus is now on the future: the upcoming shows are all about new music. The first songs from an upcoming release will be presented live, a project that is deliberately taking its time and whose full release is still to come.

In keeping with this, M. Byrd is transferring the idea of musical features to the stage: for selected songs, he invites companions and guests to perform new and well-known pieces live together. The result is two unique concert evenings that combine past, present and future.

Between familiar songs, new soundscapes and special collaborations, these shows not only tell the story of six years of artistic development, but also open a new chapter.
