Here it is at last: the public self-help group for adults. True to the motto: “I used to have dreams; now I pay bills.”

LUISA CHARLOTTE SCHULZ’s first solo show is compensatory coming-of-age comedy, because: Anyone who falls flat on their face regularly has plenty to think about. LUISA is in her mid-30s and is doing everything she can to finally wrap up the “growing up” project—occasionally using unconventional methods. The clock is ticking; solutions are needed. LUISA actually thought she’d be a mom by 30; now she’s wavering between options: freeze her eggs, or maybe it’s better to become a dad after all? Life’s rush hour is demanding. And the best way to get through it is still to be able to laugh your head off every now and then. One thing is certain: if you want things to get exciting, you’ve got to take matters into your own hands. And every now and then, that obsessive self-reflection even yields a genuine flash of inspiration. After all, there was actually some useful advice in the self-help books of the “Self-Optimization Generation.” Spiced with heart and plenty of wit—and there you have it: a delicious cocktail made from the joy and the sludge of life. It’s on the house, of course. After all, it’s happy hour. And in the end, the realization remains: Life is beautiful, and the party goes on! Only the hangover lasts a little longer now.

STABIL INSTABIL—a comedy night full of hope for everyone who never wanted to grow up, but did anyway, or still has to go through it at some point. A show with energy, charm, and 1,000 reasons to get back up tomorrow.

And the deep conviction: In the end, everything’s going to be awesome after all. Somehow!
