Golden Tones from Vienna
“Leonhard Baumgartner is no longer an insider’s tip, but a musician who immediately captivates audiences with his uniquely ‘golden’ tone,” writes the Süddeutsche Zeitung about the Viennese violinist, born in 2007. Even at a young age, Baumgartner has performed with renowned orchestras such as the Vienna Symphony Orchestra, and in 2024 he won the Eurovision Young Musicians Competition. He celebrates his debut on “Teatime” with pianist Sofya Erukhimova—who is also rapidly rising to prominence—and music by Johannes Brahms and Robert Schumann.
