Lara Ermer - Leicht entflammbar

Author, host, and comedian Lara Ermer has been writing and performing for as long as she can remember. Over time, humor has increasingly taken center stage in her performances. Now she is presenting her second full-length solo show, *Leicht entflammbar* (Highly Flammable). Ermer skillfully addresses so-called taboos with humor and makes even complex topics accessible in a pointed way. Ermer always grounds the social commentary in her art in her irrepressible curiosity and concrete facts. For inspiration, she often reads stacks of studies—and then turns them into entertainment so her audience doesn’t have to wade through the arid deserts of science on their own. This gives rise to a consistently sharp, relevant, and incisive perspective in her books and on stage.

Ermer’s first book , *Ein offenes Buch – Von idealen Körpern, perfektem Sex und anderen Mythen* (An Open Book: On Ideal Bodies, Perfect Sex, and Other Myths), was published in 2021 and became a surprise hit.  In 2024, together with entertainer Bodo Wartke, she created a highly acclaimed social media hit on the topic of “dick pics.” In early 2025, Lara Ermer wowed audiences as the opening act on Enissa Amani’s tour. She regularly appears on TV and radio shows dedicated to comedy and cabaret, as well as on podcasts and other online formats. She has already received numerous awards for her work. Her second book, *Alle gegen Alle* (dtv), was published in March 2025.
