Jeannette de PayrebruneandJeannine Bruno, both from Cologne, met in 1978 while on a partial scholarship at the Rheinische Musikschule and have been making music together since childhood.

Their paths have crossed time and again through their work in art and music. They began their musical collaboration in 2023 and have been organizing small concerts since 2025.

The focus of these two versatile artists is on composers of contemporary music such asPhilip Glass,Ryuichi Sakamoto,Yann Tiersen,Steve Reich, and others.

Through the narrative forms of contemporary New Music, the two musicians aim to liberate concert music from its classical constraints and make a new, contemporary emotionality tangible.
