After earning platinum certifications, two No. 1 hits, and billions of streams,KITSCHKRIEGis constantly seeking new paths and refreshing their collaborations, whichculminatedin their new album“KITSCHKRIEG ZWEI”on June 5.

KITSCHKRIEGwas founded in 2015 as a collective in the heart of Berlin by Christian Meyerholz (Fiji Kris), Christoph Erkes (Fizzle), and Nicole Schettler (°awhodat°). Thanks in particular to their collaboration with Trettmann, the trio quickly gained recognition for their unique productions and celebrated a #2 hit on the German charts in 2019 with the album “Trettmann.” AfterKITSCHKRIEGreleased“KITSCHKRIEG”in 2020—their most successful producer album to date, which reached No. 3 on the German album charts—the trio headed to the U.S. at the height of their success. In 2023, they traveled to Los Angeles, Atlanta, and New York, where they collaborated with artists including Future and Mariah the Scientist. In addition, the trio wanted to explore the roots of hip-hop to see how it differed from their own music and to be able to create original works themselves, as Fizzle explained in an interview with the Kölnische Rundschau. Six years after the release of their self-titled album, they have now followedup withtheir new album,“KITSCHKRIEG ZWEI.” This time,KITSCHKRIEGfocused on a new, young generation of artists and collaborated on the album with MilleniumKid & Domiziana, Charlize, Romy & Rio Reiser, Levin Liam, jolle, ENNIO, Provinz, CIVAN, Nizi19 & Yuyu19, verifiziert & KIARABABA, Baran Kok, Blumengarten & Shirin David.

In September,KITSCHKRIEGwill go on tour to Hamburg, Munich, Berlin, and Cologne. With 255 and Blumengarten as opening acts, the shows promise to celebrate their new album in absolute live ecstasy.
