DIE KOLLEGEN spielen Jazz

In the organizer's words:

In the tradition of all-star bands, "Die Kollegen" brings together top-class musicians from the Munich music scene. Alexander von Hagke, Jan Eschke, Heiko Jung, Stefan Treutter and Bernd Hess have been performing in numerous projects and on international stages for years - including with Martin Grubinger's Percussive Planet Ensemble in the Elbphilharmonie Hamburg and at La Scala in Milan, with the NDR Big Band, Panzerballett and Doldinger's Passport.

In addition to their diverse musical activities, they also work together at the vocational school for rock/pop and jazz in Munich.

Bernd Hess has written his own compositions for "Die Kollegen". The result is jazz music that - supported by the musicians' extensive experience - also incorporates influences from blues, country and other styles. They play with a lot of joy, virtuosity and genuine collegial energy.
